The Biology Lab

Description

Hey, sorry, I've been away for a while. I figured I'd try the colored dialogue thing that seems to happen in a lot of captions. Hopefully you like it.

Wiatt walked into her front door, dragging off her converse shoes. As she made her way upstairs to her room, she stood and looked at her right foot. She wiggled her toes about, and felt the fabric hug her back. Feeling how damp the sock was, she felt guilty. She wondered if that sock was even Arron, he could very well be the other one. Could he even be in there still, or did they break him a while ago? Either way, she bent down, and asked her right sock,

“Hey, are you still in there? I hope you’re happy, if you are. You make a good pair, if that’s any consolation. I love how snug you are! So absorbent too!”

After the Accident, Wiatt didn’t really know what to do with Arron. He was one of her good friends from middle school, all the way up to their Senior year. However, just that year, rumors were going about that the Bio lab was getting a new introduction, something very high tech. However, they didn’t know quite what it was. They knew that graduation was just approaching, so they figured, eh, why not check it out? They called their friend Lydia, an absolute wiz with all manner of tech, and decided to investigate.

In the lab, they looked around. Around and behind jars, in every nook and cranny they checked. Then, they found this small device, with some great resemblance to transformation machines. In hasty curiosity, Arron took the device and turned it on. At that instant he felt a sharp pain in his hand, and then dropped the device. It landed on Wiatt’s sandal, first touching her sock, before bouncing off onto the ground. Then, within the second, Arron was gone in a flash.

Wiatt and Lydia stood in disbelief. After the excruciating silence, Wiatt bent down and grabbed the device. After it read “Transformation/Absorbance Complete,” the girls stood in awe. Then shock. Before a shriek could escape their mouths, Lydia asked Wiatt if she would agree to a pact of silence. If this slipped, they were both ruined. After a short deliberation, they decided they would trade him back and forth to socialize him, in case he’s still in there. Give him a bit of stimulation, if anything. With that, Arron’s warm and form-fitting new life began.
